Finally did say goodbye to the shuttle...
And welcomed a new member of the family...
And put another member of the car family in the hospital...

Ally had this accident the day before we were to pick up the new Explorer. She did not get injured other than her hand which was x-rayed but determined to be fine. We think it got hit by the airbag. Three airbags in our Civic deployed, and we received a letter saying our insurance company was declaring the car a total loss. We started making plans, then four days later they said it was not being totaled and it was being repaired. $9,500.00 in repairs! Wow, didn't even know the car was worth that much. The other driver was taken in an ambulance, but we think she only had dental work from a plate being knocked loose by the airbag in her car.
Getting the new car, dealing with repairs and rental cars, and driving everyone everywhere (the kids can't drive the rental car because they are not 25, and Chris won't let them drive the Explorer) has consumed basically all my time for the last couple weeks.
My hair is still growing out and is almost long enough for Amy to finish the A-line cut she wants to do.
