Finally after three tries at whale watching, we finally hit the target. The first attempt was the day after Amy's wedding. We took nine people for a three hour cruise. We didn't see so much as a dolphin. Of course, that was only the second time this year that San Diego Whale Watching came up with nothin'.
So we got nine coupons to go again for free and, of course, half the guests were from out of town and couldn't reschedule, so we gave some tickets to the kids. The second time we rescheduled a big storm came in and all the trips for that weekend got cancelled. Only two storms a year, and of course one had to be that weekend.
Finally we were able to go (third times a charm) today, and we saw at least two whales and lots of dolphins.

I hadn't been whale watching in a long time. We also go half-off coupons to go again, so we might do that. They have a couple other cruises available. I had a friend on Facebook tell me that whale watching was on her bucket list. I forget how blessed we are to live near the ocean!
