Respect Your Elders

As my friend Prue gets older... she has fewer and fewer people to respect.  Haha!  She is 93 years old this month.  I met Prue in church many years ago, probably about 17.  She was in some classes that I taught.  I have shuttled her around here and there.  She is at a nursing home now, but I still visit her once a week.  She sure can gab, and I have heard the same stories a hundred times, but Jesus says to take care of widows and orphans, so I feel I have a small part in that.  Besides, maybe someone will come visit me when I am old and feeble.

Ally finished another semester of college.  She completed all of her prerequisites for her radiology program but didn't get in.  It's a stinkin' lottery system, and they have now changed the requirements to where you have to have an associates degree first before even applying.  So now, we are back to Plan B, which apparently was God's Plan A, and she will attend PIMA Medical Institute next year, for a pretty penny.

Go Ally!
