Sweet Summer Time

Haven't been keeping up like I want to -- but summer is in full swing and we are lovin' it.

Amy finally got her exam date for her cosmetology license exam.  She's been waiting 12 weeks just to get the date.  She and I will drive to Glendale the third week in August and she will spend the next day taking the written and the practical exam.

Ally is signed up for her classes at Mesa College and has four lined up, and is on the waiting list for one of the English classes.  She starts the third week in August.

Ford still has our new Explorer -- still waiting on the power steering part.  We have had to retain a lawyer and are pursing a buy back of our vehicle under the California Lemon Law.  If a warranteed part is not repaired within a reasonable amount of time (30 days) then the manufacturer is in violation of the warranty.  There some other fine print, etc.  I haven't heard from Ford in weeks and we felt we had no other option.

Ally received a free paddleboarding lesson for her graduation as a gift, so she, Amy, and Chris tried out their sea legs down at Mission Bay.  Chris ended up falling in... HAHAHA.  They had a lot of fun.  I tried it on another day with Ally... it's a lot harder than it looks.  Very fun though -- we got to go by sea lions and pelicans on a dock.

My boss brought me these to my office... YUM!
